Dutch CHESS champions ZZICT beats ING/ESGOO in the finals 2005 for the Dutch Championship. ZZICT becomes Dutch chess champions for the 10th time by beating ING/ESGOO in the finals. The semi-final was won by ZZICT (Van Wely, Timman, etc.) against HSG Hilversum (Seirawan, Rogers, etc.).
ZZICT are the reigning Dutch champions and have been Dutch champions nine times before, aswell as European champions once.
The grandmasters in the current team: Jan Timman, Loek van Wely, Ivan Sokolov, Michael Gurevich, Vladimir Chuchelov, Eric v/d Doel, John van der Wiel.
